About the Role

We’re looking for a dynamic and driven Sales Agent to join our auction house team. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, client-facing environment and has a passion for sourcing unique items, building relationships, and facilitating successful auctions.

You’ll be responsible for identifying and securing stock, managing auction logistics, and working closely with buyers to ensure a seamless experience from listing to sale.

Please ensure you include a track-record of previous sales for 12 – 24 months.

Key Responsibilities

• Stock Sourcing: Proactively seek out and secure high-quality items for auction, including antiques, collectibles, vehicles, art, and more
• Client Engagement: Build and maintain relationships with sellers and buyers, providing expert advice and support throughout the auction process
• Auction Facilitation: Assist in preparing items for auction, coordinating listings, and ensuring smooth auction day operations
• Sales & Negotiation: Engage with potential buyers, answer queries, and help close sales during and after auctions
• Market Insight: Stay informed on market trends and pricing to advise clients and identify valuable stock opportunities
• Networking: Attend industry events, exhibitions, and client meetings to grow your network and uncover new leads

What We’re Looking For

• Proven experience in sales, client service, or auction environments
• Strong interpersonal and negotiation skills
• Ability to identify valuable items and assess market demand
• Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
• Comfortable working in a dynamic, deadline-driven setting
• A self-starter with a proactive approach to sourcing and selling
• Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel for client visits and events
