Job Title: Data Engineer (Python & Redshift)

We are seeking a highly skilled Data Engineer with strong expertise in Python and Amazon Redshift to join our data team. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in building and optimizing data pipelines, data modeling, and managing cloud-based data infrastructure. You will play a key role in designing scalable data solutions that empower our analytics and business intelligence functions.
Design, develop, and maintain robust and scalable ETL/ELT pipelines using Python and Redshift.
Optimize data warehouse performance and manage large-scale datasets within Amazon Redshift.
Collaborate with data analysts, data scientists, and business stakeholders to understand data needs and deliver reliable data solutions.
Develop and maintain data models, schema designs, and documentation.
Ensure data quality, consistency, and integrity across multiple sources and systems.
Monitor pipeline performance and troubleshoot issues in a timely manner.
Implement data governance and security best practices.
5+ years of professional experience as a Data Engineer or in a similar role.
Strong proficiency in Python, particularly for building data pipelines and automation scripts.
Deep experience with Amazon Redshift, including performance tuning, data modeling, and query optimization.
Solid understanding of SQL and relational database concepts.
Hands-on experience with ETL/ELT tools and frameworks.
Experience with cloud data infrastructure, ideally within AWS.
Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
Ability to work independently and in cross-functional teams.
Familiarity with AWS services such as S3, Lambda, Glue, or Athena.
Experience with data orchestration tools (e.g., Airflow, Dagster, or similar).
Knowledge of data warehousing best practices and data architecture principles.
Exposure to CI/CD for data pipelines and version control (e.g., Git).
