About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Data Engineer with strong expertise in Python and Amazon Redshift to join our data team. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in building and optimizing data pipelines, data modeling, and managing cloud-based data infrastructure. You will play a key role in designing scalable data solutions that empower our analytics and business intelligence functions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain robust and scalable ETL/ELT pipelines using Python and Redshift.

• Optimize data warehouse performance and manage large-scale datasets within Amazon Redshift.

• Collaborate with data analysts, data scientists, and business stakeholders to understand data needs and deliver reliable data solutions.

• Develop and maintain data models, schema designs, and documentation.

• Ensure data quality, consistency, and integrity across multiple sources and systems.

• Monitor pipeline performance and troubleshoot issues in a timely manner.

• Implement data governance and security best practices.

Required Skills & Experience:

• 5+ years of professional experience as a Data Engineer or in a similar role.

• Strong proficiency in Python, particularly for building data pipelines and automation scripts.

• Deep experience with Amazon Redshift, including performance tuning, data modeling, and query optimization.

• Solid understanding of SQL and relational database concepts.

• Hands-on experience with ETL/ELT tools and frameworks.

• Experience with cloud data infrastructure, ideally within AWS.

• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.

• Ability to work independently and in cross-functional teams.

Preferred (Nice to Have):

• Familiarity with AWS services such as S3, Lambda, Glue, or Athena.

• Experience with data orchestration tools (e.g., Airflow, Dagster, or similar).

• Knowledge of data warehousing best practices and data architecture principles.

• Exposure to CI/CD for data pipelines and version control (e.g., Git).
