Experience: Minimum 3 years post-article experience and a qualified Chartered Accountant -CA(SA)

Overview:

Our client is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Chartered Accountant to join our team as a Financial Manager. The ideal candidate will have a strong financial background, preferably from the banking or financial services sector. The role involves utilizing financial expertise to identify revenue drivers, analyze data sets, and provide valuable business insights to enhance decision-making processes.

Responsibilities:

Financial Analysis:

· Conduct in-depth financial analysis to identify revenue drivers and cost-saving opportunities.

· Work with large data sets to extract meaningful insights for strategic decision-making.

· Perform trend analysis to support forecasting and budgeting processes.

Decision Support:

· Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide financial insights and support decision-making processes.

· Present findings and recommendations to senior management, ensuring clear communication of complex financial concepts.

Forecasting and Budgeting:

· Contribute to the development of financial forecasts and budgets.

· Monitor actual financial performance against budgeted targets and provide variance analysis.

Financial Reporting:

· Prepare accurate and timely financial reports for internal and external stakeholders.

· Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations.

Qualifications:

Chartered Accountant (CA SA) qualification is mandatory.

Skills:

· Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

· Proficient in working with financial models and data analysis tools.

· Excellent communication skills, with the ability to convey complex financial information to non-financial stakeholders.
