Job Title: Microsoft Power Apps Developer

Location: Hybrid – Johannesburg

Contract: 6 months (highly extendable)

Hours: Full-time (160 hours per month)

Role Overview:

We are seeking a skilled Microsoft Power Apps Developer to join our client’s team on a 6-month contract with the potential for extension. This role requires an experienced professional to design, develop, and implement custom applications and automation solutions using the Microsoft Power Platform. You will collaborate with business stakeholders to create efficient, scalable, and user-friendly applications that enhance business processes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design & Development: Build, customize, and optimize Power Apps solutions (Canvas and Model-Driven Apps).
• Power Automate: Develop automated workflows and integrations to streamline business processes.
• Data Management: Connect Power Apps to various data sources (Dataverse, SQL, SharePoint, APIs, etc.).
• UI/UX Enhancements: Ensure applications provide an intuitive and seamless user experience.
• Power Platform Ecosystem: Work with Power BI, Power Virtual Agents, and AI Builder where applicable.
• Integration & API Development: Utilize PowerApps connectors and custom APIs to integrate with enterprise systems.
• Performance & Security: Ensure solutions are secure, scalable, and optimized for performance.
• Collaboration & Support: Work closely with business analysts, project managers, and stakeholders to define requirements and provide technical guidance.

Required Skills & Experience:

• 3+ years of hands-on experience in Power Apps development.
• Strong understanding of Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, Dataverse, etc.).
• Experience with Microsoft 365, SharePoint, and Azure integrations.
• Ability to develop and integrate custom connectors and APIs.
• Strong knowledge of Dataverse, SQL, and other database management platforms.
• Experience with PowerApps Component Framework (PCF) development is advantageous.
• Familiarity with Power BI, AI Builder, and Power Virtual Agents is a plus.
• Understanding of security best practices within the Power Platform ecosystem.
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
