Type of position: 12 month Fixed Term Contract

Our client is a software development company founded on the continent of Africa in 1999. They deliver full-stack BSS/OSS solutions to a global footprint of telecoms operators. As experienced systems integrators, they play a crucial role in the technology planning and development with their customers, always looking for new ways of delivering real value and providing competitive advantage whilst keeping abreast of future technologies, frameworks and methodologies.

Job Description:

The role holder is accountable for managing how to functionally and non-functionally deliver software and technical solutions for their customers. The role holder adopts a flexiblecross-functional mind-set, keeps the customer at the forefront of everything, strives to present a unified engineering team to customer sand does their utmost to create and deliver solutions.

About You:

• At least 4 years project management experience.
• IT Degree or Diploma.
• Telco experience – ideally OSS/BSS experience
• A thorough understanding of Software Development Life Cycle.
• Experience in managing delivery of customer-facing and internally facing products or services.
• PMI or PMP certification or similar from an accredited organization.
• Working knowledge of the Software Development life cycle using waterfall or agile methodologies.
• Good presentation and communication skills.

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for delivery of all customer projects on time and in budget.
• Responsible for overseeing all elements of delivery, including managing scope, budget and plan strictly against contract.
• Manage relationships with our customers, ensuring solutions are of high quality and delivered on time, on budget.
• Collaboration with stakeholders to document project scope, deliverables, goals, risks, blockers, success measures, and estimated resources needed.
• Where applicable management of customer and partner engagement on key programs.
• Any other duties as required.
