Senior Front End Developer

Overview

We are looking for a Senior Front-End Engineer. This is an exciting opportunity to take the lead in crafting user-facing applications that are fast, accessible, and responsive. You’ll play a critical role in setting front-end architecture standards, mentoring junior developers, and working closely with Product and UX teams to deliver intuitive, high-performance web applications.

Key Responsibilities

• Build scalable, high-quality front-end applications using modern frameworks and tooling.
• Lead architectural decisions and define front-end development best practices.
• Mentor and support mid-level and junior front-end developers.
• Work closely with Product Managers and UX Designers to translate concepts into user-friendly experiences.
• Continuously improve performance, maintainability, and accessibility of front-end codebases.
• Drive UI/UX enhancements and contribute to design consistency and usability.
• Implement robust testing strategies to ensure application reliability and quality.
• Ensure cross-browser and cross-device compatibility.
• Contribute to CI/CD pipelines and participate in code reviews.
• Stay current with industry trends, new tools, and front-end best practices.

Requirements

• Proven experience in front-end development, with a strong portfolio of modern web applications.
• Strong leadership and mentorship capabilities.
• Deep understanding of JavaScript (ES6+), React, and Next.js.
• Solid grasp of state management libraries (e.g., Redux).
• Skilled in writing automated tests using Jest and React Testing Library.
• Experience integrating RESTful APIs and working with backend engineers.
• Familiar with CI/CD tools (e.g., Docker, Helm, Jenkins, ArgoCD).
• Hands-on experience with cloud environments, preferably AWS.
• Strong problem-solving skills and a user-first mindset.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Desirable Skills

• Experience with server-side rendering (SSR) and performance optimization.
• Familiarity with TypeScript.
• Understanding of accessibility (WCAG) standards and responsive design principles.
• Exposure to GraphQL or other API technologies.
• Knowledge of Agile/Scrum development processes.
• Awareness of ethical and inclusive design practices.
