Exciting Opportunity: Systems Business Analyst

I’m assisting my client with this fantastic role as a Systems Business Analyst in FinTech and cellular services. Bridge tech and business to innovate and optimize in a fast-paced environment.

Job Purpose

Act as the interface between systems teams, business, projects, and third parties. Recommend solutions (processes, systems, apps) to achieve goals, evolving FinTech in financial services (VAS) and cellular areas while maintaining operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Analysis: Stakeholder analysis, elicitation, document BRS/BRD, secure sign-offs.
• Planning: Communication, training (M365/SharePoint/ALC), testing, pilot/roll-out plans.
• Design: Manage FRS playback, follow Waterfall/Agile, finalize and approve.
• Development: Monitor, report, collaborate between dev and business.
• Integration & Testing: Oversee UAT, defects, escalations; monitor/report.
• Deployment: Pilot (big bang/staggered), monitor, approve, communicate/train.
• Operations: Handover to BAU, manage support/tickets.
• Review: Track EOL, updates, new tech.
• Innovation: Benchmark and simplify processes/systems.

Experience Required

• Proven FinTech implementation track record.
• 3+ years in FinTech/financial services.
• ~5 years in apparel retail/systems, including VAS/cellular processes, optimization, BRS/BRD, IT collaboration, testing, project management, training/change, BAU support, system architecture, UML, test execution, basic Oracle/SQL.

Qualifications

• Essential: Matric + relevant Degree/Higher Diploma (IT, Computer Science, etc.).
• Preferred: Project Management Diploma/Certificate.

Knowledge & Skills

• Knowledge: Waterfall/Agile, system implementation, PMBOK/BABOK, reporting, MS Suite (intermediate-advanced), integrations, POPIA, eCommerce, FinTech/cloud/SDLC, change/defect management, modeling/UI/UX, process tools (Draw.io).
• Skills: Handle pressure/prioritize, strong communication/interpersonal, technical support/training, identify improvements, analytical/problem-solving, risk assessments.
