UX Designer

Key Performance Area:

As a UX Designer, you’ll execute design visions, conduct user research, create prototypes and wireframes, and collaborate with designers, development teams, and project managers. Your role is crucial in delivering innovative and user-centric designs.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct user research and usability testing to inform design decisions.
• Create and iterate on prototypes and wireframes.
• Collaborate with designers, developers, and project managers to bring designs to life.
• Ensure designs are aligned with user needs and business goals.
• Maintain design consistency across all projects and platforms.
• Participate in regular design reviews and feedback sessions.

Knowledge and Experience:

• 2 – 4 year’s experience in User Experience design.
• Experience in multiple projects from beginning to end.
• Proven experience in conducting user research, interviews, surveys and usability studies, and translating findings into UX requirements.
• Experience in applying user research and other tools to defend designs.

Skills:

• Strong knowledge of User Experience design, principles, best practises and trends.
• Strong knowledge of design software (e.g. Figma) and graphics design editing tools (e.g., Adobe Suite).
• Strong knowledge of design techniques (e.g. wireframing and prototyping).
• Proper understanding of visual elements (layout, typography, visual hierarchy, colour theory).

Additional Information:

• Location: Cape town Stellenbosch being on site 2 to 3 days in office a week.
