HR Business Partner (HRBP)

Salt Search is partnering with a prestigious, globally recognised leader in finance services to find a passionate and experienced HR Business Partner (HRBP) to join their team. This role is ideal for someone with a solid HR generalist background (5 years) and a commitment to driving best practices, fostering strong stakeholder relationships, and supporting business improvement.

As an HRBP, you’ll play a crucial role in driving HR initiatives that enhance the business’s performance. Reporting directly to the HR Director and collaborating with a close-knit HR team of four, you will offer internal consulting, advisory, and problem-solving solutions in HR management, workplace relations, and WHS matters. This is an end-to-end HR generalist role that will allow you to make a significant impact.

Key Responsibilities:

• Business Partnering: Work with leaders across the business to drive HR strategies aligned with business goals.
• Coaching and Development: Provide guidance and support to team members and managers for career growth and development.
• Talent Management: Contribute to the attraction, retention, and development of top talent.
• Health and Safety: Ensure a safe and compliant workplace while promoting health and wellbeing.
• Policy Development & Review: Develop and implement HR policies to ensure best practice.
• Performance Management & Culture: Foster a positive culture, drive performance reviews, and improve workplace satisfaction.
• Remuneration & Benefits: Advise on competitive compensation and benefit structures.
• Employment Relations: Manage industrial relations and ensure a harmonious work environment.

What We’re Looking For:

• Qualifications: Tertiary qualifications in Human Resources or a related field.
• Experience: Minimum of 5 years in HR, with solid generalist HR experience.
• Skills & Abilities:
  • Strong influencing, negotiation, and communication skills.
  • Proven coaching and mentoring capabilities.
  • High commercial acumen and practical problem-solving skills.
  • Demonstrated ability in workplace investigations and resolutions.
  • Excellent attention to detail and time management.
  • Knowledge of the retail or financial industry is desirable.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Experience with policy development, performance management, and WHS.
