National Sales Estimator – HVAC & Mechanical Services

A leading Tier 1 Global organisation based in Sydney is urgently requiring a National Sales estimator due to growth. Reporting to a passionate supportive GM, you will be part of the inclusive sales estimation team and will have national remit and responsible as a key contributor to the business growth strategy across Mechanical/HVAC technical services.

This role would suit a Sales Estimator who has already build their career from HVAC, mechanical services, or OEMs or multi technical sector where you be embraced and appreciated for technical estimation knowledge & business development experience. This is an exciting opportunity as you will be leading the way for this specialisation nationally so you can put your stamp on the role, in return you will be in a great team that is supportive company that also can offer you a long-term sustainable career.

Specific responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Evaluating tender specifications, interpreting technical drawings and plans
• Develop strong relationships with industry contacts to position company to preferred supplier agreements.
• Facilitating collaboration and communication across other internal departments for continual improvement in process and expertise
• The ability to develop accurate estimations & quotes using pricing tools
• Assist with planning
• Add value with your technical & communication skill
• Be involved in planning & strategy to drive sales

The Successful Applicant Should Have:

• Demonstrate excellent communication & strong people skills.
• Proven track record in of estimating maintenance contracts
• Technical qualification & certificates preferred are ‘A’ Class Electrical Licence or Fire Trade or HVAC or Mechanical
• Working knowledge of the building and construction industry
• Ability to use estimating software
• Ability to estimate accurately & with quality
• IT Literate – in particular, word, excel and PowerPoint

Offering ideally $145- $155K + car allowance but negotiable & flexible!
