State Manager – Electrical and Communication Services

Salt is partnering with a leading Facilities Management (Electrical Maintenance) company with Headquarters Perth to search for a Business Manager. Reporting to the COO (Australia), you will be part of the inclusive management team and responsible as a key contributor to the business growth strategy in WA.

This role requires you to be both hands on and operational where you will be embraced by your ability to lead a team of trades, technical and admin staff in this electrical field. You will be proactive and focus on the WA businesses to engage, develop, and provide exceptional standards across their services.

Even though this client has amazing talent in their specialist fields, you will be the conduit that will collaborate and drive the company vision through your hard work, commitment, strategic ideas, business & operational development & great communications skills.

This role would suit a business owner or individual that wants to develop their skills in a well-established corporate company who has already build their career from Electrical qualification, has at least 7 years solid experience and has great leadership skills where you are accountable for successfully running a business with a great reputation and willing to adapt and learn.

We are looking for someone with the following skills and traits:-

· Must have worked as an Electrician and have current license

· Possess great people management and leadership skills, enjoy working across a range of personalities.

· Must have a great approach to safety in the workplace and a solid personal safety record.

· Someone who enjoys growing a business based on great values and reputation.

· Someone who has financial exposure and owned a P&L.

· Also understanding of commercial contracts (e.g., insurance clauses, liquidated damages, time bars in contract).

· As well also experience with project forecasting (cost to complete on projects).
