About the Role

We are on the lookout for an experienced BDM to join this existing sales team in Sydney. The BDM plays a crucial role in driving the growth and success of the organisation. Your experience will span across the full sales cycle to identify and capture new business opportunities within your dedicated territory within NSW & WA.

Although a hunter role, you will value building strong, meaningful relationships with your clients to deliver exceptional service. The BDM will be supported by an SDR therefore the ability to collaborate and work closely with cross-functional teams will be important.

What you will do

  • Run a full sales cycle to generate new business opportunities.
  • Provide stellar customer service to all clients and potential prospects.
  • Adopt a consultative approach to ensure clients extract maximum value from the company’s core products and value-added offerings.
  • Prepare compelling proposals, presentations, and pitches tailored to the specific needs of potential clients.
  • Identify opportunities for the wider sales team to increase revenue through upselling and cross-selling.
  • Build brand awareness to leverage customer & supplier relationships to promote the platform.
  • Attend and be involved in seminars, tradeshows, and events.

Your Experience

  • Previous BDM experience within a SaaS company working across the full sales cycle.
  • You are customer-centric & possess outstanding consultative skills, with a proven history of building and nurturing strong customer partnerships that benefit both organizations.
  • Experience using The Challenge Sales Methodology is highly desirable.
  • Embrace a results-oriented mindset, showcasing the ability to overcome obstacles and prioritize tasks to accomplish objectives.
  • You have excellent time management and task-switching capabilities.
  • You are a self-starter and possess the ability to excel in both a team-based and autonomous environment.
