Are you a highly skilled Change Manager?
We are looking for a Change Manager to work on an Investment Transformation Program and Private Markets PMS implementation project.
Looking for Senior Change practitioners – Change Managers with a breadth of industry and program change management experience. Will ideally have exceptional communication and client/stakeholder engagement skills. Will need to be able to work with project teams to ensure that they are being consistent in their communication about proposed changes to the business. Candidates will ideally have experience of working within the Finance domain ideally with in the investments space. Experience of working on the deployment of investment systems would be perfect but isn’t essential.
The Change Manager role leads the change management activities across a programme. These activities include but are not limited to: planning and execution of changes of people and processes impacted by changes across the system landscape, change impact assessments of users affected by changes in the various streams, assess consequent training needs requirements, develop and manage communications for the programme, including an over-arching communications plan and training schedule:
1. Define a change management strategy and approach that prepares all impacted parties for the changes made by the programme to users ways of working;
2. Ensure training needs analysis and appropriate training, communications and other change delivery mechanisms are used to prepare for and embed any new processes within the organisation;
3. Manage and co-ordinate business unit preparation activities required to deliver changes made by the program, co-ordinate program change activities (necessary communications, training and any other forms of formal/informal change strategies) required to support the programme;
4. Ensure the business units take an active role in driving & championing the changes required by the programme;
5. Drive the team to identify, document and manage the changes and business unit/ stakeholder change impacts;
6. Support and track progress of business units change preparation activities;
7. Establish and drive a stakeholder management approach which builds “buy-in” to the programme and ensures consistent messaging & expectations; and
8. Actively support the development and management of the project plan, risks, issues, dependencies and provide appropriate transparency and reporting to management.
i) Experience with IT and business focused implementations;
ii) Must have proven experience in project/program management, and stakeholder management;
iii) Must have the ability to communicate effectively in written and oral communications, to both internal as well as external stakeholders;
iv) Skilled in creating content that provides relevant and engaging information in simple, direct language, using graphics where appropriate;
v) Ability to simplify technical language for consumption by a non-IT audience; and
vi) Energy / utilities industry experience is preferable.
1. Tertiary qualification/ certification in a business management related field;
2. Relevant certification in a change management methodology (e.g. PROSCI, APMG); and
3. A minimum of 5 years’ change management, communications and training management experience in the context of business systems implementation projects and/or programs.
