The Company
Salt has teamed up with a specialist AWS Consultancy based in Melbourne, who is currently seeking a Cloud Engineer to join their growing Cloud Team on a permanent basis.

The Role
As a Cloud Engineer you will be joining our award winning Consultancy’s Cloud Practice, where you will help to build, implement and manage various exciting AWS solutions for a number of Enterprise customers. Some their current projects include large-scale Cloud migrations, as well as re-platforming and re-architecting.
Key Skills and Competencies
The successful Cloud Engineer should have the following skill set:
- Proven experience working as a Cloud / DevOps Engineer
- Extensive experience working with AWS
- Hands on knowledge of Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation)
- In depth experience in building and maintaing CI/CD pipelines
- Demonstrated experience in configuration management tools (Ansible)
- Experience working in a containerised environment (Docker, Kubernetes)
- Proficient working with various O/S (Linux, Windows)
- Knowledge of various scripting languages languages (Powershell, Bash, Python, Java)
- Understanding of Networking and Security
- Full working rights in Australia
