Seeking a dynamic and forward-thinking Business Analyst to join our rapidly growing team in Melbourne’s CBD. As an Energy Business Analyst, you will play a crucial role in helping us shape the future of renewable energy. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to analyse data, identify opportunities for improvement, and provide valuable insights that drive our business forward for the Energy sector.

WHAT’S ON OFFER

• $120,000 – $140,000 Package depending on experience.
• Full time role.
• Melbourne CBD
• Hybrid working arrangements. 3/2

THE ROLE:

• Eliciting and documenting client requirements and bringing these together into coherent artifacts that can be disseminated and passed to product teams.
• Process mapping and engineering, with particular focus on elements of processes and journeys that are specific to the client.
• Being the authoritative source of information within the company for the how the clients’ business processes operate.
• Documenting industry processes and analyse requirements from key stakeholders and present them to the organisation.
• Facilitating requirements gathering workshops; bringing together the organisations product and engineering people with the client
• Working in partnership with the programme manager and client success manager to ensure that platform requirements are delivered to the right quality and solve our clients’ problems.

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:

• MUST HAVE: Prior working knowledge in the Energy Industry.
• Bachelor’s degree in business, Finance, or a related field. Master’s degree preferred.
• 3-6 years in a Business Analyst role in the energy or related
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in data analysis tools and software. SQL & Python favourable.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Knowledge of a range of energy industry processes (examples but not limited to: Erroneous transfers, disputed reads, meter status updates, change of supply).
• Experience working with SaaS or Billing applications would be preferred.
• Passionate about working with stakeholders across the Energy company and its clients to ensure high levels of engagement and knowledge sharing.
