Front End Developer

The Role:

An exciting and established ecommerce client is seeking an experienced Front End Developer with excellent Vue.js experience to join their team.

The role of Front End Developer is to participate in the design, build, and maintain high-quality technology solutions that deliver an exceptional customer experience.

Working as an integral part of an Agile development team, this role will require close and continuous collaboration with the Product Owner, Business Analysts, and fellow team members to translate user stories and functional requirements into resilient & secure technical designs which will be implemented as production-ready application code using Javascript and related technologies.

Responsibilities:

• Full life cycle application design and development using Javascript – Vue.js
• Micro-services development knowledge, engineer with a breadth of experience in a micro-service architecture, and test-driven development.
• Proactively engage in the remediation of software issues related to code quality, security, and/or pattern/frameworks.
• Mentoring, guiding, and developing a team of developers with a focus on quality and best practice coding standards
• Knowledge in Javascript application development frameworks and demonstrate proficiency – Vue.js – Node.js
• Experience with Google Maps API, Google Tag Manager, Google Analytics
• Knowledge and experience preferred CI/CD – Cloud experience

Qualifications:

• Ability to work in an agile environment, incrementally define and improve system architecture as application evolves
• Expert knowledge and extensive hands-on experience with Java 11+
• Hands-on experience Google Maps API, Google Tag Manager, Google Analytics
• Good knowledge of design patterns and software development best practices.
• Experience with Performance tuning, Unit testing, Integration testing and assist in User-Acceptance Testing
• Strong experience in developing responsive websites, emails and mobile apps
• Strong collaboration skills, system thinking and ability to clearly explain complex concepts
