Infrastructure Solution Architect

The Infrastructure Solution Architect plays a key role within the Architecture & Solutions team, responsible for designing and developing end-to-end infrastructure solutions from concept to detailed design. This position leads and prioritizes infrastructure initiatives, working closely with IT Services, business stakeholders, and senior leadership.

The role spans multiple domains, including networks, servers, hardware, storage, backup, data centers, and disaster recovery. Collaboration with Solution Architects, Operations, and other stakeholders is essential to create and maintain architectural assets such as logical and physical designs, patterns, standards, and detailed plans.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement enterprise-wide IT infrastructure solutions that align with business goals.
• Evaluate current infrastructure needs and create scalable, cost-effective solutions.
• Identify and recommend appropriate technologies to support business operations and innovation.
• Create conceptual, solution, and detailed designs while reviewing designs across multiple domains, including cloud, networks, and AI.
• Engage with stakeholders, contribute to project planning, and participate as a voting member in architecture forums.

Key Experience required:

• 10+ years of experience designing, implementing, and managing large-scale IT infrastructure solutions across various platforms.
• Skilled in working with data centers, virtualization (VMware preferred), storage, networking, and containerization technologies.
• Strong knowledge of networking, firewalls, VPNs, security technologies, and expertise in automation and configuration management tools.
• Experienced in troubleshooting complex infrastructure issues, optimizing performance, and ensuring high availability and disaster recovery.
• Proficient in creating architecture diagrams, technical documentation, and effectively engaging with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Capable of managing multiple priorities in dynamic environments, balancing high-level architecture with detailed design work.

Education and Qualifications:

• Degree in Information Technology.
• IT Infrastructure related certifications.
