The Company
Salt is excited to have partnered with one of Australia’s leading Financial Services organisations, who is currently looking for a JavaScript Developer to join one of their digital engineering teams based in Melbourne CBD on initial 6 month contract, which is due to start ASAP.
The Role
As a JavaScript Developer, you will joining one of our Financial Services client’s innovative digital engineering teams, where you will help with the development of various exciting web applications as they embark on a new digital transformation project, which is using some of the latest platforms and technologies.
Key Skills and Competencies:
The successful JavaScript Developer should have the following skill set;
Essential Skills
- Extensive experience working with various JavaScript frameworks & libraries (React.js, Redux, TypeScript)
- Strong knowledge of React.js and Redux
- Expertise with HTML5, CSS3 (SASS, LESS)
- Knowledge of W3C standards and WCAG accessibility compliance
- Hands on experience with Unit Testing and Performing Code Reviews
- Proficient with Version Control (Git/SVN)
- Understanding of Docker or Kubernetes
- Experience working in an Agile environment
