Senior Business Analyst

NEW opportunity for a Senior Business Analyst to join a NSW Government Department. Working across various large-scale projects that deliver beneficial grassroot impacts on our community.

You will be working with various stakeholder, and project teams to develop and generate inputs including all documentation, both functional and non-functional required for IT projects. You will be working across the delivery of projects from infrastructure, networking upgrades, databases and various forms of IT projects.

We’re looking for a Senior BA to bridge the gap between business requirements, and IT solutions, able to work autonomously, with established understanding of procurement processes such as creating procurement plans, and value analysis.

Required Skills and Experience:

• Extensive experience in the complete process of Requirements Management including Non-Functional requirements.
• Excellent negotiation skills, and stakeholder management.
• Deep understanding and knowledge of full software development lifecycle and project management lifecycle.
• Experience in projects involving procurement of a service or system, extending to business impact analysis.
• Experience in supporting the testing process in particular UAT.
• High-level experience in data analysis.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
• Certified in BABOK or PRINCE2.
