Senior Change Analyst – Higher Education

As the Senior Change Analyst, you will focus on technology and digital transformation initiatives, developing and executing change management strategies that address both the technical and people-side impacts. Your role will involve working closely with IT, project teams, and business units to assess how technology changes affect stakeholders and to ensure a smooth transition through the adoption of new tools, systems, and processes.

THE ROLE:

This role will primarily focus on technology and digital projects, including systems implementations, upgrades, and process automation. You will manage smaller or moderately complex technology change initiatives, ensuring that users are fully supported through the transition phases. This role is ideal for an OCM professional eager to deepen their expertise in tech-driven change management, while contributing to innovative and impactful technology projects.

• Lead the development and delivery of change management plans for technology-related projects.
• Collaborate with technical teams to translate complex changes into stakeholder-friendly communication and training.
• Engage with diverse stakeholder groups to understand impacts and tailor change approaches.
• Deliver change activities, including stakeholder impact assessments, communications, and readiness activities.
• Manage and report on change progress, adoption rates, and resistance points.
• Ensure the effective integration of people, process, and technology changes.

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:

• Minimum 3 years’ experience in a Senior Change Analyst role in a project delivery environment.
• Demonstrated experience in the application of Change Management methodology (e.g. PROSCI).
• Demonstrated ability to perform independently and as a team member during times of ambiguity.
• Experience in delivering project change across private sector organisations preferable, but not essential.
• Strong understanding of IT project lifecycles and the impacts of technology change on users.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, especially in technical environments.
• Experience in delivering change for technology solutions, including systems implementations and process optimizations.
• Ability to manage competing priorities and deliver high-quality change initiatives.
