The Company
Salt is pleased to have partnered with an one of Australia’s leading Financial Services organisations based in Melbourne CBD, who is currently looking for a Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) to join one of their Engineering teams on a permanent basis.
The Role
As a Site Reliability Engineer (SRE), you will be joining one of our Financial Services client’s high-performing Engineering teams, where you’ll be working within a mature cloud environment and will be responsible for contributing to the improvement of the reliability & resilience of high impact & high volume business critical applications.
Key Skills and Competencies:
The successful Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) should have the following skill set:
- Extensive experience with Public Cloud Platforms (AWS, Azure)
- Commercial experience in setting up CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, BitBucket, Bamboo)
- Proficient with configuration management (Puppet, Cloud Formation)
- Strong knowledge of Container-based technologies, using Docker (ECS) and/or Kubernetes (EKS)
- Understanding of various scripting languages (Linux, Shell, Python, Bash)
- Experience working in an Agile environment
- Australian Citizen or Permanent Resident
