Salt is looking for a Software Engineer for our partner – the largest broadcast services provider in the southern hemisphere, the company specialising in broadcast playout, content delivery, data handling & archiving

As a Software Engineer you will be responsible for developing high-quality applications, as well as maintaining and updating current in-house applications.

Responsibilities:

Develop quality software and web applications;
Analyse and maintain existing software applications;
Design highly scalable, testable code;
Discover and fix programming bugs

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science or related field;
Development experience with programming languages such as Python/ C#/ Bash/ PHP;
Postgres or Oracle or SQL database or relational database skills;
Knowledge of web standards such as HTML5, CSS3, JS;
Technical IT knowledge including networking
