Freelance 3D Artist

3D Artist Role – Clientside- Remote role

An opportunity has become available for a creative 3D Artist (with experience in AR/VR) to join a global brand on a freelance basis, working remotely. This is a great chance to join an incredible brand, with ongoing work.

About the role:

• You will be creating 3D photo-realistic product animations & renderings
• Unreal Engine experience (Blueprints, materials, animation) and the creation of lighting and scenes in Unreal Engine
• You will be refining CAD 3D data & creation of AR/VR files
• You will be tasked with designing virtual products in the relevant 3D creation systems based on article description
• Create 2D stills and 3D animations in relation to our approach of the efficient usage of master assets and project related creative guidelines
• Preparation and modelling of 3D files in compliance of company 3D standards
• Provide expertise in all technical questions and establishment of 3D standards
• Execute testing and sharing consolidated feedback of new 3D tool implementation
• Documentation of procedures related to semi automated product virtualization processes
• During the project, you will be ensuring the data is recorded correctly and will support process improvement

Software Requirements:

• Unreal Engine
• Substance Painter / Designer
• Adobe Suite
• Cinema4D (Redshift) / Modo / Maya / Houdini

About you

• Heavy experience in VR/AR projects
• 5-8 years of experience in an 3D Artist role
• 2-4 years of experience in RealTime content creation
• Basic programming skills (C++) and understanding of Blueprint API
• Self motivation and the ability to manage your own workloads and deadlines
• Fluent written and spoken English language skills
