Acquiring Business Specialist (Munich)

I’ve got a brand-new role as a Product / Business Specialist for one of my clients which is a long-standing leader in the German payments market. Excitingly, they are going through considerable growth and are currently in a European expansion phase. Therefore this opportunity is prime for those Payment Acquiring specialists who would like to add an international dimension to their career.

Your tasks:

• Internal and External development of my client’s Acquiring value proposition
• Support the international expansion of the business from an Acquiring perspective
• Relationship Management with international Card Schemes
• Pricing, Commercial & Contract Management for the Card Acquiring value proposition
• Commercial analysis of scheme requirements
• Support of the European Sales / Pre-Sales activities for the acquiring solution

Your skills:

• Bachelor’s degree / MBA a plus
• Expertise in merchant acquiring POS & eCOM (e.g. pricing, compliance, …)
• Expertise in card scheme rules
• Minimum 5 years’ experience with an acquirer / PSP or comparable financial institution
• Fluent in English and German, additional language a plus
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Hands-on mentality
• Willingness to travel when required
