COO

My client is looking for an experienced Chief Operating Officer or COO to oversee our organization’s ongoing operations and procedures. You will be the company’s second-in-command and responsible for the efficiency of business.

Responsibilities
* Partner with the CEO to develop and implement the company’s strategic vision and operational plans.
* Oversee all core operational functions including (but not limited to) trading desk operations, compliance, risk management, human resources, technology, and financial management.
* Identify areas for process improvement and implement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency and effectiveness.
* Manage and optimize company resources, including personnel, budget, and technology infrastructure.
* Lead and motivate a high-performing team to achieve departmental goals and objectives.
* Develop and implement performance metrics to track operational effectiveness and identify areas for improvement.
* Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and industry best practices.
* Provide strategic direction and support to the sales and marketing teams to achieve revenue targets.

Qualifications
 Minimum 7-8 years of experience in a senior leadership role within the financial services industry, preferably in a brokerage or similar environment.
 Strong understanding of brokerage operations, compliance requirements, and risk management principles.
 Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
 Exceptional leadership and communication skills with the ability to motivate and inspire teams.
 A valid SCA certificate is a strong advantage.
