Business Development Manager – Germany (Remote)

About the Role:
As the Business Development Manager, you will play a pivotal role in establishing and growing our client’s software presence in the German market. This remote position offers the flexibility to work from anywhere while driving strategic initiatives that will shape the future of the company’s software operations in Germany.
Key Responsibilities:
- Market Entry Strategy: Develop and implement comprehensive strategies to successfully launch and establish software operations in Germany.
- Software Sales Growth: Identify and pursue new business opportunities, partnerships, and client relationships to drive software sales revenue and increase market share.
- Market Analysis: Conduct in-depth market research to understand industry trends, competitive landscape, and customer needs specific to the software sector.
- Sales Leadership: Lead and manage the entire sales process for software solutions, from prospecting and lead generation to closing deals and achieving sales targets.
- Product Expertise: Develop a deep understanding of the company’s software products to effectively communicate their value propositions to potential clients.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including marketing, product development, and customer support, to ensure alignment and successful execution of business strategies.
- Customer Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, ensuring customer satisfaction and fostering long-term partnerships.
- Reporting: Provide regular updates and reports on business development and sales activities, progress, and outcomes to senior management.
Qualifications:
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years in business development and software sales, preferably within the automotive industry, e.g., SaaS, enterprise software
- Market Knowledge: Proven experience in the German market with a strong understanding of local business practices and cultural nuances.
- Language Skills: Fluency in German and English is essential.
- Skills: Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills. Ability to think strategically and execute methodically.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field. A Master’s degree is a plus.
- Technical Aptitude: Strong understanding of software products and the ability to grasp technical concepts quickly.
