Operations Technician

Salary up to SAR 22,000

Currently partnered with a leading multinational company who is rapidly expanding and on the lookout for a Operations Technician to join the team in Riyadh.

This position involves supporting the deployment and maintenance of network and AV systems for live training events across the EMEA region, as well as providing technical assistance for online streaming platforms used during these events.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist senior technical staff with the setup and configuration of network devices, including routers, managed switches, wireless access points, and controllers.
• Set up and maintain a variety of audio-visual equipment provided by the organization and venues.
• Identify and resolve network availability and performance issues during events, collaborating with senior technical staff when needed.
• Provide technical support on areas such as network connectivity, streaming platforms, lab performance, and AV issues.
• Conduct daily checks to ensure all technical systems are operational.
• Respond to operational and security incidents at events, escalating issues as necessary.
• Deliver Service Desk support for technical issues originating from the region.
• Collaborate with technical leads to document and resolve recurring issues, contributing to continuous improvement.
• Assist with the maintenance and upgrades of technical equipment used for events, including routers, Wi-Fi kits, and other necessary tools.
• Configure and maintain laptops for regional employees, including initial setup and software installation according to standard requirements.
• Reset returned laptops to factory settings.

Requirements:

• You must have expertise in networking hardware and technologies such as Aruba, Ruckus, AWS, and 4G LTE systems.
• Also experience with networking concepts, including OSPF, subnetting, scripting, and programming.
• You must have experience identifying and resolving network availability and performance issues during events, collaborating with senior technical staff when needed.
• Travel will be required for this position across the Middle East. You must be comfortable with travelling.
