This role is perfect for an experienced Arabic-speaking sales professional with a background in exhibitions or construction-related sales, looking to make a commercial impact across high-profile industry events.
Overview
As Sales Manager, you will take ownership of revenue generation through exhibition space, sponsorships, and branding opportunities across flagship construction events. This is a client-facing role requiring strong commercial skills, relationship building, and an ability to drive revenue growth through strategic account management and business development.
Responsibilities
- Sell exhibition space and sponsorship packages, achieving and exceeding revenue targets.
- Manage existing client relationships and develop new business opportunities.
- Support and collaborate with international sales agents to maximise sales coverage.
- Monitor competitor activity and conduct regular market research to generate new leads.
- Build strong relationships with associations and partners to enhance event credibility.
- Provide detailed weekly reporting and sales forecasts to the Event Director.
- Work closely with the marketing and accounts teams to support campaign delivery and payment collections.
- Attend exhibitions and industry events to meet clients and identify commercial opportunities.
Requirements
- 3-4 years of experience in B2B sales and account management, ideally in exhibitions or events.
- Previous experience in the construction sector or selling construction-related products is a plus.
- Arabic-speaking is essential.
- Strong knowledge of the Middle East market, with existing industry connections preferred.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills across phone, email, and face-to-face channels.
- Proactive, motivated, and target-driven with the ability to manage a sales pipeline.
- Collaborative and adaptable with a team-first mindset.
