AI Technical Lead

*** Minimum 12 month fixed rolling contract ***

My client are leaders in the oil and gas industry.

Seeking a qualified AI Technical Lead to effectively and efficiently manage the development of AI solutions from exploration to deployment, in an agile development environment.

The AI Technical Lead role will include running daily scrums, managing the product backlog, collaborating on requirement documentation, managing support and resolving barriers to keep the team moving on the project.

Responsibilities include but not limited to:

• Lead and coordinate the scoping, technical requirements gathering, estimating, planning and delivery of single or multiple projects or work streams
• Facilitate and coordinates daily stand-up, iteration planning, sprint review, and iteration retrospective
• Guide team in time estimating practices and facilitates team estimates
• Drive team iteration execution, communicate with management and stakeholders
• Manage project conflicts, challenges and dynamic business requirements to keep project running at a high performance
• Maintain projects data in JIRA project management software to support plan and execution
• Support the Products Owners in delivering their Product in a timely and cost- effective manner

Qualifications:

• 5+ years of solid experience in Agile Project Management and applying MetaScrum and/or Hyper Agile techniques.
• 5+ years of solid experience in Data Science with a wide knowledge of front-end, backend technologies.
• 7+ years of solid experience in a similar role
• Excellent communication, motivational, and interpersonal skills.
• Excellent multitasking skills, and managing in-parallel projects.
• Strong leadership and organizational abilities.
• Deep technical knowledge (i.e., Full stack development, Full stack AI, etc.), Machine Learning framework (i.e., PyTorch, Scikit-learn, etc.)
• A proven track record of designing scalable and maintainable technical solutions.
• Scrum Master certified
