We are seeking an experienced Bid Manager to join a fast-paced, technology-driven organization specializing in large-scale digital transformation initiatives across Cloud, Digital, and Robotics domains. This role will be central to coordinating and delivering end-to-end bid processes, crafting tailored proposals, and ensuring alignment with client needs and business objectives. The successful candidate will be strategic, detail-focused, and collaborative, with excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Key Responsibilities:
Bid Strategy & Planning
- Define and implement bid strategies that position the organization competitively.
- Analyze client requirements, market dynamics, and differentiators to craft compelling value propositions.
Proposal Management
- Lead the development of comprehensive, well-structured proposals tailored to client objectives.
- Coordinate inputs from cross-functional teams including sales, technical experts, legal, and finance.
- Ensure proposals meet client specifications, internal governance, and brand standards.
- Manage timelines, document preparation, and final submission processes.
End-to-End Bid Coordination
- Oversee the entire bidding lifecycle from qualification to final negotiation.
- Ensure adherence to deadlines, internal workflows, and compliance protocols.
Stakeholder Engagement
- Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to gather inputs and align objectives.
- Build strong working relationships across departments to facilitate seamless proposal execution.
Client Interface & Tools Management
- Act as a point of contact for client inquiries during the bidding process.
- Manage bid submission platforms and client procurement tools (e.g., Etimad, SAP Ariba).
Market & Competitive Intelligence
- Conduct analysis of competitors, client trends, and market shifts to inform proposal strategies.
Commercial Input & Pricing Coordination
- Partner with commercial, sales, and finance teams to shape competitive and sustainable pricing models.
Post-Submission Review
- Lead debrief sessions to capture feedback, evaluate performance, and implement improvements.
- Contribute to the evolution of internal bid management tools and methodologies.
Performance Tracking & Reporting
- Maintain records of bid activities and provide insights through periodic reporting.
Candidate Profile:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or a related discipline.
- At least 5 years’ experience in bid or proposal management, ideally within Cloud or digital transformation sectors.
- Deep understanding of bidding procedures and the sales lifecycle.
- Strong written communication and editing skills, with the ability to simplify complex concepts.
- Proven multitasking ability in deadline-driven environments.
- Sharp analytical thinking and problem-solving capabilities.
- Familiarity with CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce) is a plus.
- Comfortable working both independently and in a collaborative team setting.
