6-month initial contract – with extensions
I am working with a Digital Consultancy who are looking for a BPM Consultant to join them on an initial 6-month contract in Abu Dhabi:
As the BPM Consultant, you will lead a team of process experts and play a key role in identifying, designing, and implementing process improvements that enhance efficiency, productivity, and customer satisfaction.
You will work closely with senior leadership to align BPM strategies with the company’s goals and ensure the successful execution of large-scale transformation initiatives. The ideal candidate will be both a strategic thinker and an operational doer, with extensive experience in BPM frameworks and methodologies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage end-to-end business process transformation initiatives, from assessment and strategy to execution and sustainability.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including IT, operations, and business units, to identify process inefficiencies and implement innovative solutions.
- Develop and implement BPM methodologies, tools, and frameworks, ensuring best practices are followed across the organization.
- Partner with senior leadership to align process improvement initiatives with broader business objectives and operational goals.
- Monitor process performance through KPIs and drive continuous improvement by identifying new opportunities for optimization.
- Mentor and lead a team of BPM professionals, fostering a culture of innovation, accountability, and excellence.
- Serve as the BPM subject matter expert, providing guidance on process architecture, governance, and technology integration.
- Ensure effective change management strategies are in place to support the adoption of new processes and technologies.
- Oversee process documentation, ensuring processes are clearly defined, standardized, and communicated across the organization.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Operations, or a related field (MBA or advanced degree preferred).
- Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in business process management, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
- Strong knowledge of BPM frameworks, methodologies (e.g., Lean, Six Sigma), and process modeling tools (e.g., BPMN).
- Proven track record of driving business transformation and large-scale process improvement initiatives.
- Exceptional leadership and people management skills, with experience leading cross-functional teams.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a focus on data-driven decision-making.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
- Experience with BPM software and platforms, such as Appian, Pega, or similar, is a plus.
- PMP, Lean Six Sigma, or related certifications are highly desirable.
