Database Development Team Lead

My client is a cutting edge fintech. They are a secure integrated digital wallet based in KSA.

You will be responsible for planning, hardware installation & configuration, optimization, operations, and ongoing maintenance data center. The role holder is also responsible for managing data systems and processes with an aim to provide internal units with robust data and insights to support effective decision making.

Job Responsibilities:

• Act as a custodian of key organizational and sectoral data. Responsible for ensuring the availability of usable, consistent, and accurate data in usable formats for all key internal and external stakeholders.
• Oversee collection, maintenance, and reporting of key data in desired formats to resolve issues related to data integrity.
• Respond to data requests from internal units to provide help for statistical analysis and interpretation.
• Assist in the identification, evaluation and recommendation of appropriate information systems applications and databases to be adopted in line with best practices.
• Act as the escalation point to troubleshoot data center issues, including coordination and support of onsite resources.
• Interact with vendors and equipment suppliers to resolve production and technical problems.
• Monitor and conduct regular inspections of Datacenter critical functions to report infractions of datacenter security policies and procedures.
• Lead multiple infrastructure planning and implementation including instance strategy, technical platform selection, architecture design, backup, and recovery strategy.
• Work with multiple databases flavors such as MSSQL, Oracle, Postgres, MangoDB, Sybase

Requirements:

• 6 – 8 years of experience in related industry
• Fluency in both Arabic and English is required.
• Experience working with multiple databases- MSSQL, Oracle, Postgres, MangoDB, Sybase
