Job Summary:
Our MSP client require an experienced Microsoft Dynamics Business Central (BC) Functional Consultant for a contract position. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in Business Central modules and the ability to analyze business processes, offering functional expertise to implement and optimize Microsoft Dynamics BC solutions. In this role, you will collaborate with clients, end-users, and technical teams to ensure the successful delivery of high-quality, customized solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead or participate in the implementation of Microsoft Dynamics BC (Business Central) solutions during the project lifecycle, including requirements gathering, configuration, testing, and deployment.
  • Rectification of issues reported by users with the technical consultant who already is there as an in-house employee.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to define business needs and translate them into functional system designs and solutions.
  • Configure and customize Business Central modules (Financials, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Sales, etc.) based on client requirements.
  • Support UAT (User Acceptance Testing) and provide user training and post-go-live support to ensure a smooth transition and system adoption.
  • Act as a functional expert and liaison between business users and technical teams, ensuring the system meets client expectations and performs optimally.
  • Provide ongoing troubleshooting, functional support, and issue resolution during the contract period.
  • Provide Dynamics BC user training

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Systems, or related field (preferred but not required).
  • Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience with Microsoft Dynamics BC (or previous versions such as NAV).
  • Proven experience in full-cycle Dynamics BC implementations, with a focus on key functional areas such as Contracting, Manufacturing, and Trading.
  • Excellent ability to communicate with both technical and non-technical stakeholders, translating business requirements into functional solutions.
  • Ability to work autonomously and manage project tasks and timelines efficiently.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with a focus on delivering timely and effective solutions.
  • Experience in providing user training, documentation, and post-implementation support.
  • Microsoft Dynamics certifications in Business Central (preferred but not required).
