⌛ 6-month initial contract – with extensions
As the PSS Support Manager will be an integral part of my client’s Digital Technology and Innovation team.
This role focuses on managing our strategic partnership with one of their principal technology vendors. You will be the primary liaison between them, ensuring a seamless and effective collaboration that maximizes quality, value, and timely delivery.
You will work closely with various internal and external stakeholders to support and optimize the vendor relationship.
Key Responsibilities:
- Vendor Relationship Management: Report on the status of the vendor relationship, ensuring clear and consistent communication between all parties involved.
- Contract Coordination: Facilitate contract reviews and revisions between Amadeus and relevant internal stakeholders to ensure alignment and compliance.
- Stakeholder Facilitation: Act as a mediator to handle requests from internal teams and coordinate responses from Amadeus.
- Joint Forum Organization: Arrange and manage joint forums, ensuring productive and efficient discussions and outcomes.
- Meeting Coordination: Organize meetings, including travel arrangements, meeting spaces, and technical requirements.
- Meeting Preparation: Develop and provide high-quality meeting materials and produce clear and concise meeting minutes.
- Action Tracking: Maintain and manage action items, ensuring timely and satisfactory completion.
- Invoice Management: Review, validate, and process invoices, working with Amadeus to resolve any discrepancies.
- Budget Support: Assist in managing a multi-million-dollar operational budget.
- Process Improvement: Implement and oversee process improvements to enhance the efficiency of vendor relationship management.
- Activity Oversight: Maintain a comprehensive view of all activities related to the partnership, ensuring alignment with strategic goals.
Experience:
- 5-8 years in technology vendor management.
- 5-8 years in airline stakeholder management.
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, Engineering, Software Engineering, or an equivalent field is required.
Certifications:
- Certification in Project Management, PRINCE2, or a similar qualification is desirable.
Skills:
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools.
- Strong risk and issue management capabilities.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, with an emphasis on teamwork, collaboration, and communication.
- Superior analytical, planning, and organizational skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities effectively.
