As Principal Consultant you will lead our Telecom practice and own the delivery of high quality telecom vertical outcomes. You will be responsible for managing and leading ServiceNow development, solution, integration, and system architecture. You will work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to ensure the successful implementation of ServiceNow solutions.
Responsibilities:
- Design and architect scalable solutions: The Principal Consultant – Telecom lead is responsible for designing and architecting telecom solutions on the ServiceNow platform that meet business requirements while adhering to best practices and scalability principles.
- Lead platform implementation projects: They lead implementation projects, collaborating with cross-functional teams including developers, business analysts, and stakeholders to ensure successful deployment and adoption of ServiceNow solutions.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship: They offer technical guidance and mentorship to development teams, assisting in resolving complex technical issues, reviewing code, and ensuring adherence to coding standards and platform best practices.
- Evaluate and recommend platform enhancements: Evaluates new platform features, upgrades, and enhancements, making recommendations for adoption based on business needs, industry trends, and technical considerations.
- Drive platform governance and optimization: They establish and enforce platform governance policies, ensuring compliance with security, performance, and regulatory requirements. They also identify opportunities for platform optimization and efficiency improvements, driving continuous improvement initiatives.
Qualifications:
- At least 10 years of total experience with 6+ years of ServiceNow platform experience in Telecom industry
- Experience in Integration, development, and project leadership.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Proven ability to lead and manage cross-functional teams
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
- ServiceNow certifications CMA / CTA highlight desirable. Qualified candidate will be sponsored for the program.
- CIS-ITSM, CIS-ITOM, CIS-ITAM or equivalent required.
- Experience working with ServiceNow Transformation projects.
- Experience in Agile and Waterfall methodologies
- Arabic speaker preferred but not mandatory.
