Software Engineer – Card Platforms (TSYS PRIME 4)

6-month initial contract – with extensions

I am looking for a talented Software Engineer with experience in card payment platforms and expertise in TSYS PRIME 4 to join my client on an initial 6-month contract.

This role will focus on developing, maintaining, and optimizing card issuing and acquiring solutions, ensuring seamless integration with payment networks and compliance with industry regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain card issuing and acquiring solutions using TSYS PRIME 4.
• Work closely with internal teams to integrate payment processing solutions with banking systems and third-party providers.
• Ensure compliance with industry security standards and regulations (PCI DSS, EMV, etc.).
• Optimize transaction processing, improving system performance and scalability.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to payment platforms.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to enhance the functionality and efficiency of card services.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Software Engineer working with card platforms.
• Hands-on experience with TSYS PRIME 4 (issuing and acquiring).
• Strong programming skills in Java, C++, or similar languages.
• Familiarity with payment networks (Visa, Mastercard, AMEX, etc.).
• Experience working in financial services, fintech, or banking technology.
• Understanding of real-time transaction processing and API integrations.
• Experience with database management (SQL, Oracle, or similar).
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
