Vice President of Digital and Technology

A leading organization in the travel and tourism sector is seeking a seasoned Digital and Technology VP to spearhead the strategy and management of digital systems, e-commerce platforms, technology infrastructure, and guest experience innovation. The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in travel technology, particularly in Online Travel Agency (OTA) platforms and travel distribution systems. Experience with MarTech solutions will be highly valued.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the enhancement and expansion of digital platforms, with a strong focus on online booking systems and global distribution capabilities.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to create integrated solutions that improve the customer booking and interaction process.
• Develop and execute a comprehensive marketing technology strategy, integrating tools such as customer data platforms (CDPs), analytics, automation, and CRM to boost marketing outcomes.
• Utilize advanced marketing technologies to optimize campaign performance, segment audiences, and deliver personalized messaging in real-time.
• Oversee the seamless integration of marketing technology with the existing data and CRM frameworks.
• Establish and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the success of marketing campaigns and overall platform effectiveness.
• Manage large-scale tech projects, ensuring smooth coordination across teams, effective vendor management, and adherence to budgets.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Software Engineering, or a related discipline.
• At least 12 years of experience in IT, digital strategy, or leadership roles in technology, with a minimum of 5 years in a senior management capacity.
• Solid background in developing and scaling online booking platforms and travel distribution systems.
• Expertise in leading digital transformation and managing large-scale technology implementations.
• Strong knowledge of data analytics, cybersecurity, data privacy, and compliance within a business environment.
• Experience overseeing technology projects from inception to completion
