Contracts Specialist

Salt is hiring a ‘Contract Specialist’ a highly motivated paralegal or attorney who thrives in a fast-paced environment and can provide effective and practical legal review and project management support to the global team. In this role, you will serve as a partner to support document review, knowledge management and project management across the Americas, EMEA and APAC regions.

The ideal candidate will have familiarity with typical commercial contract structures (master services agreements, order forms and statements of work), and excellent organization and document management skills. To succeed in this role, you will need to be able to manage large volumes of document review efficiently and effectively to satisfy competing priorities.

This is a contractual position based in Singapore.

Responsibilities:

• Provide support globally (across the Americas, EMEA and APAC time zones) in reviewing order forms, statements of work, and other standard form documents.
• Address ad-hoc requests for NDA review or processing.
• Process outside counsel SOWs & engagement letters.
• Manage contract templates including versioning, updates and publishing on a shared platform.
• Provide first point of contact for clients in dealing with routine internal tooling issues including vendor onboarding, processing approvals and routing contracts for signature. This will require familiarity with our contracts policy and approvals matrix and will require relationship building with the global support teams.
• Assist with information gathering and presentations.
• Support project management efforts including maintaining work trackers, building internal excel-based tooling and internal guidance.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Paralegal or legal qualifications.
• At least 3+ years of experience working on commercial contracts.
• Willingness to take on various substantive and administrative tasks.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Diligent, well organized and able to manage numerous projects simultaneously under deadline pressure
