Legal Assistant

Salt Talent search is looking for a Public Policy Manager for a 6 month extendable Contract role.

• Help craft and implement content policies that take into consideration the needs of a global community.
• Collaborate with Policy, Product, Operations, Communications and External Stakeholders to drive policy improvements.
• Act as a global escalation point of contact and manage internal communications for policy issues. Be the on-call POC for escalations at regular cadence.
• Help articulate policy philosophy, launches, and changes to relevant parties, including management, operations, and other internal and external stakeholders.
• Build relationships with and understand the perspectives of partners on internal teams, such as Public Policy, Communications, Operations, Product, and Legal.
• This role may involve exposure to potentially graphic and / or objectionable content including but not limited to graphic images, videos, audio, and writings, offensive or derogatory language, self-injury, animal abuse, and other content which may be considered offensive or disturbing.

What Will You Do:

• Bachelor’s degree
• 5+ years experience in policy, government, project management, law, or operations
• Demonstrated analytical-thinking and problem-solving experience
• Experience communicating cross-functionally, particularly in the area of consensus-building and persuasion
• Strong written and verbal communication
• Ability to work with potentially graphic and objectionable content
