Content Specialist

Salt is hiring a ‘Content Specialist’ with excellent editorial judgment, a strong command of social media and a good understanding of trending news and topics along with Identifying cultural trends across a broad spectrum of topics.

Job Responsibilities:

· Review a range of content, including credible news, entertainment and short-form video from a diverse set of publishers, broadcasters, public figures, creators and influencers

· Identify cultural trends across a broad spectrum of topics- News, Entertainment, Sports Lifestyle etc

· Apply review guidelines to content at scale, maintaining commitment to accuracy and consistency

· Collaborate with our internal content and product teams to improve user experience

· Have the ability to work an atypical schedule as required, including nights, Saturday and Sundays

Requirements:

· Experience in social media, editorial, content creation, journalism or digital media

· Deep knowledge of the social media landscape and SFV content

· Experience with social discovery and/or social listening tools

· Excellent skill in editorial strategy and what makes digital content great

· Excellent communication skills, verbal and written

· Education/Experience: Bachelor’s degree required.
