Midweight Designer/Art Director

Our client is looking for a midweight designer/art director, who will be able to think strategically across different clients, you will be responsible for creating and executing high quality design concepts and maintaining brand continuity.

Responsibilities:

• Act as design guardian for clients’ brands ensuring colour, type and visual equities follow brand standards.

• Provide fresh thinking, strong ideas and a high level of craftsmanship across all elements of design.

• Have a good understanding of the creative process from brief to production

• Organise and maintain design files and master assets as needed

• Maintain the agency’s standards of creative excellence, timeliness and profitability

• Support the team when managing external specialists e.g. illustrators, visualiser

• Help to maintain an atmosphere of inspiration and collaboration

Qualifications:

• Design experience: Formal training or equivalent experience – 3+ years working in the industry.

• An exceptional portfolio showcasing your most recent work that shows concept-driven design and well-crafted execution.

• Teamwork. Workshops. Client presentations. You’ll be confident dealing with all sorts of people.

• Agency experience required

• You’ll are adaptable and tackle whatever the project throws your way.

• High skill level skill in design programs (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, Acrobat, Sketch).

• Experience in animation, coding or interactive design is always a plus.
