Project Analyst

About the Company:

A leading organization in the Media and Digital sectors is currently seeking a skilled Project Analyst to join the Finance team. The role involves pivotal responsibilities in the transition of activities to the newly established Finance Hub.

Role Overview:

As a Project Analyst, the successful candidate will play a key role in managing the project transition into the Finance Hub. Reporting directly to the Group Finance Director, the role requires energy, technical expertise, and a passion for driving well-controlled financial processes.

Requirements:

• Newly qualified or actively studying towards a professional qualification.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in a Finance team, with at least 2 years in a Finance Transformation project.
• Knowledge of Media or Digital sectors (advantageous).
• Prior experience in a Shared Service Centre environment.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills across global cultures.
• Curiosity, robustness, and self-motivation in driving financial accounting discipline.
• Desire to improve end-to-end processes for accounting and reporting.
• Experience with ERP and Consolidation packages; specific experience with NetSuite and Adaptive Insight desirable.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office packages, with significant Excel experience.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepares and monitors detailed process transition planning.
• Ensures alignment of planning among stakeholders – Hub, Project team, Commercial Finance.
• Monitors project execution and quality stage gates.
• Manages the project risk register with a focus on process/control risks.
• Contributes to the wider center, supporting team members as needed.
• Identifies and deploys continuous improvement opportunities.
• Supports group audit processes, internally and externally.
