Overview:

A leading advertising agency with an impressive track record in digital innovation is seeking an experienced Head of Digital to join their close-knit team. This hands-on leadership role goes beyond strategy – you’ll be deeply involved in the day-to-day execution, loading, and optimization of campaigns across multiple channels. The position requires exceptional media buying expertise and a proven track record of managing substantial advertising budgets. Working within a collaborative culture where everyone rolls up their sleeves, you’ll be part of a dynamic team that values both individual contribution and collective success. This in-office role presents an exceptional opportunity for a strategic yet hands-on digital marketing leader to drive transformative results for prestigious clients.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Spearhead comprehensive paid media strategies across multiple digital platforms, including hands-on campaign setup, management, and optimization, while managing substantial advertising budgets to deliver outstanding ROI.
  • Develop and implement comprehensive paid media strategies to meet client goals across digital platforms including search engines, social media, and other digital channels.
  • Manage significant advertising budgets, optimize spend, and analyze performance metrics to ensure maximum ROI.
  • Lead the analytics and reporting function for all paid campaigns, providing actionable insights and strategic recommendations to both clients and internal stakeholders.
  • Stay ahead of industry trends and updates in paid digital media, applying best practices and innovative approaches to campaigns.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including creative, content, and technical departments to ensure cohesive digital strategies.
  • Mentor and lead a team of paid media professionals, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and excellence.
  • Integrate and manage APIs into CRM systems (along with the CRM team) to enhance campaign performance and data accuracy.

Requirements:

  • Relevant tertiary qualification
  • Experience in digital advertising within an agency environment, with extensive hands-on media buying expertise
  • Proven track record in managing and executing sophisticated digital paid media campaigns with demonstrable ROI success
  • Current certifications in major digital marketing platforms (Google Ads, Facebook Blueprint, LinkedIn Advertising)
  • Understanding of API integration with CRM systems
  • Strong proficiency in digital analytics tools, including Google Analytics, SEMrush, and related platforms
  • Experience with tools such as Super Metrics and Zapier is highly advantageous
  • Must thrive in a collaborative, hands-on environment where leadership means being actively involved in campaign execution
