Marketing Coordinator

Salary: R 20 000.00 – R 25 000.00 CTC per month (depending on experience)

Location: Johannesburg, North (hybrid)

This company has developed a groundbreaking mobile app that empowers users to send money quickly, affordably, and securely to other countries on our continent. With features like lightning-fast transfers, flat-fee pricing, and flexible payout options, they are redefining cross-border remittances. The role will involve elevating their social media presence, increasing not just their following, but also the engagement with the brand. You’ll also need to do some basic design work for ATL marketing for print and display.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Plan and execute all social media and display advertising campaigns.
• Monitor social media metrics – track reach, clicks, and user engagement across all platforms
• Create weekly reports showing social media growth and performance data
• Use analytics tools to gather and document accurate platform metrics
• Compare weekly and monthly stats to identify trends and successful content
• Assist senior management in planning, and executing specific marketing work and events.
• Coordinate production of artwork, source images and check copy.
• Design, build and maintain social media presence.
• Research new online media opportunities that may benefit the business including mobile, social media, development of blogs and forums.
• Drive consistent, relevant traffic and leads from the social network presence.
• Identify trends and insights, and optimize spend and performance based on the insights.
• Manage all artwork and collateral requests and day to day activities
• Create shareable content appropriate for specific networks to increase awareness for both the brand and the brand services
• Coordinate monthly marketing reports, ensuring that deadlines are met.

Requirements:

• Relevant tertiary qualification
• At least 2 years work experience in Digital or Traditional Marketing, and specifically social media campaigns
