Data Governance Analyst / BA

Key Responsibilities

• Interpret and contextualize relevant Data Governance and Knowledge Management framework documents.

• Review and assess current and past work done in the data governance space.

• Collaborate with internal managers to identify gaps and assist in strategy formulation.

• Develop a structured plan of action to support implementation.

• Contribute to the alignment of KM Strategy & Directives across government levels.

Requirements

✔ Proven expertise in Data Governance and Data Management
✔ Experience in government or public sector data environments is highly recommended
✔ Strong analytical, strategic thinking, and stakeholder engagement skills
✔ Ability to quickly comprehend complex documentation and translate it into actionable outcomes
✔ Familiarity with national and provincial information governance policies is a plus
