Intermediate System Engineer

About the Role

An exciting opportunity is available for an experienced System Engineer with a strong focus on patching, packaging, and endpoint management. This role is ideal for someone with a solid background in SCCM, Intune, and vulnerability remediation who thrives in a fast-paced IT environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and support end-to-end application patching and packaging processes.
• Administer and oversee Windows and Microsoft patching to maintain compliance and system integrity.
• Deploy, monitor, and troubleshoot using SCCM and Intune.
• Collaborate with IT and security teams to enhance patch management strategies.
• Diagnose failed patches, analyze logs, and resolve system issues and conflicts.
• Ensure adherence to security policies and support vulnerability remediation efforts.
• Provide accurate reporting and insights related to patch compliance and risk exposure.

Skills & Experience Required

• Proven experience with SCCM and Intune in enterprise environments.
• Strong knowledge of the full lifecycle of application patching and packaging.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Windows patching, especially Windows Update for Business (WuFB) processes.
• Understanding of vulnerability management frameworks and remediation best practices.
• Proficiency in PowerShell scripting for automation, deployment, and reporting tasks.
• Ability to produce and analyze reports using tools like Power BI or Excel.
• Hands-on experience with NinjaOne or similar RMM tools for remote patching and endpoint monitoring.
• Exposure to tools like Patch My PC for managing third-party application patching.
