About the Role

We are looking for a Management Accountant Graduate Intern, ideally with an Honours degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. While this is a graduate opportunity, candidates with 1-2 years of experience will also be considered.

This role is perfect for someone who not only understands the numbers but also appreciates their impact on business decisions and management strategy. You will be responsible for interpreting financial data and transforming it into actionable insights to support decision-making.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in financial and management reporting, ensuring transactions are recorded accurately and meaningfully.
• Support cost accounting processes-understanding cost structures, allocations, and their implications for the business.
• Translate financial data into business insights, helping management make informed decisions.
• Ensure transactions are categorized correctly and formatted in a way that is useful for reporting.
• Work with stakeholders to understand how different departments view and utilize financial information.

Key Requirements

• Honours degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (preferred).
• Understanding of Cost Accounting-practical experience is not required, but a strong grasp of the concept is essential.
• Knowledge of Financial Accounting principles, ensuring transactions are correctly recorded and reported.
• Interest in Management Accounting, with the ability to analyze financial data and create meaningful insights.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to communicate financial concepts clearly to non-financial stakeholders.
