Mid level UX Writer

We’re looking for a Mid-Level User Experience Writer to support the UX Writing Lead and champion an omnichannel UX writing strategy across all product lines in the business.

Key Performance Area:

You’ll support the UX writing Lead. Your responsibility is to deliver effective UX writing and help champion best practice development for our client experience touch points. You’re responsible for ensuring that your UX copy recommendations are data-backed, delivered on time, and in accordance with best practices and within the guidelines.

Responsibilities:

• Ensure the internal sign-off process for marketing is followed, gaining sign-off from relevant departments at each crucial stage of development.
• Participate in regular reviews of UX design work for UX copy input.
• Work with analytic teams to assess the impact of all UX copy changes and recommendations.
• Work on different aspects of UX writing such as copy audits and competitor research.
• Work alongside user researchers, UX designers, and marketing managers to identify project requirements.

Knowledge and Experience:

• Experience in the financial sector would be advantageous.
• User Experience writing subject matter expert.
• Passion for psychology, communication, anthropology, and/or behavioural science (as it pertains to CX/UX principles).
• Good knowledge of UX design principles, terminology, and methods.
• Expert knowledge of effective UX writing techniques.
• Experience with agile practices and working in an agile environment or the context of multiple feature teams.

Skills:

• Ability to assess the client’s needs from their behaviour’s and translate these needs into intuitive flows that demonstrate business value.
• Confidence with common design tools such as Figma, FigJam, InVision, and similar.
• Strong usability testing experience.
• Strong empathy and excellent interpersonal and relationship management skills.
• Ability to defend copy choices with best client-centric data and best practice knowledge.
• Ability to champion design thinking and behavioural science for a wide range of products.
• Ability to present work to executives and large groups.
• Ability to deliver excellent work on time under minimal supervision.
