Are you passionate about creating innovative software solutions for the marine industry? We’re looking for someone to join our client`s dynamic team. In this role, you’ll play a crucial part in shaping and delivering a cutting-edge software solution designed to streamline the inspection process of marine drilling equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the planning and execution of the product roadmap.
• Develop wireframes and user flows based on in-depth research and user needs.
• Conduct stakeholder interviews to gather valuable insights and feedback.
• Create detailed software specifications to guide the development process.
• Manage the dev team’s work, including backlog grooming and prioritization.
• Oversee timelines and resources to ensure project milestones are achieved.
• Conduct user acceptance testing and investigate bugs to maintain high product quality.
• Assist with training and documentation to support product use and maintenance.
• Collaborate closely with engineering and business teams to align product with business goals.

Requirements:

• Strong time management and organizational skills.
• Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively within a team.
• Self-motivated with a high level of initiative and independence.
• Ability to create detailed software specifications.
• Attention to detail in user acceptance testing and bug investigation.
• Proficiency in writing clear, concise documentation.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to convey product vision and strategy.

Bonus Skills:

• Passion for UX design and solving real-world problems.
• Experience with Git or version control systems.
• Proficiency in Afrikaans, both written and spoken.
• Experience in a technical product team.
