QA Test Engineer

Key Responsibilities

• Own the QA process for the Data Engineering team, ensuring the quality of all data-driven features and services.

• Design, implement, and maintain automated test cases using PyTest.

• Perform API testing and integration testing across backend services.

• Develop and execute load/performance tests for data pipelines.

• Write and maintain clear and concise test documentation.

• Identify, report, and track bugs using test management and issue tracking tools.

• Collaborate closely with developers, product managers, and other QA engineers to deliver reliable, high-quality releases.

• Champion best practices in QA, test automation, and continuous improvement within the team.

Required Experience

• 4+ years of experience in Automation QA.

• 2+ years of hands-on experience with PyTest.

• 2+ years of experience in API testing.

• 2+ years of experience working with databases (Relational and/or NoSQL).

• Deep understanding of QA methodologies, tools, and processes.

• Excellent attention to detail and documentation skills.

• Strong communication and collaboration abilities.

• Comfortable working in fast-paced, agile environments.

• Experience in a B2B SaaS company.

Nice to Have

• Experience with AWS or GCP services.

• Familiarity with test management tools like XRay, TestRail, or Zephyr.

• Academic background in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related fields.

• Experience testing data pipelines, ETL processes, or data platforms.
